CLAUDE.md

figma-edit-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from neozhehan/figma-edit-mcp. It costs 192 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for developing and testing a server that lets coding agents read and modify Figma designs. Figma is a collaborative tool for creating interface and visual designs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Contributing to the server, reviewing its tests, and following its project-specific development and documentation rules.
Why use it?
They highlight testing practices that catch regressions and warn that mocked Figma responses cannot prove the real design tool behaves correctly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00192 $0.00192
Opus 5 $0.00096 $0.00096
Sonnet 5 $0.00038 $0.00038
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00019

Security

Grade A, and why

figma-edit-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

@AGENTS.md

Contributors: for development setup, repo layout, and the tool-design checklist see CONTRIBUTING.md. The agent usage guide is loaded on demand from skills/figma-edit/references/ — it is no longer inlined here, to keep the in-repo context cost near zero.

If you are writing or reviewing tests, read CONTRIBUTING.md § Tests first. Two rules there have each been violated repeatedly in this repo, by careful authors, with a green suite: red-proof every regression (break the production line on purpose and confirm a test fails — a test that passes before and after a fix is not a guard), and mocks cannot establish Figma's behaviour (a stub proves only what you told it).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
