Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00974 | $0.00974 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00487 | $0.00487 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00195 | $0.00195 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00097 | $0.00097 |
Grade A, and why
claude-threads CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 117 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This is a lightweight web viewer for Claude Code conversation files with a terminal-inspired ASCII aesthetic. It provides a file-system-based interface to browse projects from ~/.claude/projects and view JSONL conversation files in a compact, expandable format.
Development Commands
# Install dependencies
npm install
# Start development server (port 3000)
npm start
npm run dev
# No build process - uses vanilla HTML/CSS/JS
Architecture
Three-Tier Structure
- Backend (
server.js): Express server that scans~/.claude/projectsand serves JSONL files - Frontend (
public/app.js): Single-page vanilla JavaScript application with vim-style keyboard navigation - Styling (
public/style.css): GitHub Dark theme with terminal ASCII aesthetics
Key Components
ClaudeViewer Class (main frontend controller):
- Project/conversation navigation with keyboard shortcuts (j/k/h/l)
- Panel toggle system (sidebar/conversations can be hidden)
- Message rendering with expandable tool calls and thinking blocks
- Full-text search across all conversations
Server API Structure:
/api/projects- Returns projects with stats (total/assistant/user message counts)/api/projects/:project/conversations- Lists conversations with metadata/api/projects/:project/conversations/:file- Returns parsed JSONL messages/api/search?q=term- Full-text search with result limiting
Data Flow
- Server scans encoded project directories (
-Users-path-projectformat) - Projects decoded to readable paths, URLs simplified to project names only
- JSONL files parsed line-by-line for message objects
- Frontend renders with expandable sections and syntax highlighting
Code Architecture
Message Rendering Pipeline
- Content Types: text, thinking blocks, tool_use, tool_result
- Rendering: Markdown-like processing with code block detection
- Interactivity: Click-to-expand sections with yellow keyboard selection highlighting
- Syntax Highlighting: Local implementation (replaced external CDN dependency)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claude-threads CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository nibzard/claude-threads (10 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 974 tokens to every session, about $0.0049 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
