vibepulse: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

vibepulse AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from niclasvestlund-YT/vibepulse. It costs 3,284 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for VibePulse, firmware for a small screen built on an ESP32-S3 and LVGL. They describe the project structure, hardware context, build rules, releases, and documentation practices.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing, building, documenting, or releasing the VibePulse firmware and its shared Torget platform.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the project context it needs to make changes safely, including which files and hardware details are authoritative.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions Claude Code; mentions Codex.

This is niclasvestlund-YT/vibepulse's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on vibepulse itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything vibepulse configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.03284 $0.03284
Opus 5 $0.01642 $0.01642
Sonnet 5 $0.00657 $0.00657
Haiku 4.5 $0.00328 $0.00328

Security

Grade A, and why

vibepulse AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

VibePulse — firmware för hyllskärmen

Setting this repo up for someone? Follow docs/agent-setup.md, not this file. It is in English, step by step, with a verification after every step and a symptom→fix table. This file is maintainer context for working on the platform, and it is mostly Swedish.

Designsystemet: spec/ui-spec.md. Hårdvarusanningen routas under Hardware-aware work nedan; läs den kanoniska femfilslistan där före hårdvaruarbete.

Status (2026-08-28, v1.0.0)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
