turbocharge: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

turbocharge CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from nicodiansk/turbocharge. It costs 1,291 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A Claude Code plugin blueprint that organizes engineering work into skills, agents, hooks, and marketplace files. Its workflow covers brainstorming, writing a story, planning, building, reviewing, shipping, debugging, and wrapping up.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to structure feature development, dispatch specialized agents, run plugin lifecycle automation, and package the result for distribution.
Why use it?
It gives projects a defined path from an idea to a reviewed change instead of relying on scattered commands and ad-hoc processes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01291 $0.01291
Opus 5 $0.00646 $0.00646
Sonnet 5 $0.00258 $0.00258
Haiku 4.5 $0.00129 $0.00129

Security

Grade A, and why

turbocharge CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Context

Turbocharge: Claude Code Plugin Blueprint

A Claude Code plugin that replaces ad-hoc agents, scattered skills, and custom commands with a single opinionated engineering pipeline. Also serves as a reference implementation for building Claude Code plugins.

What This Project Is

This is a plugin for Claude Code — not a standalone app. It consists of:

  • 10 skills (SKILL.md files that define slash commands)
  • 5 agents (markdown agent definitions dispatched by skills)
  • 1 hook (SessionStart bootstrap + ATLAS pre-load)
  • A marketplace manifest for distribution

Architecture

Plugin Structure:
  skills/ → SKILL.md files (user-invocable slash commands)
agents/ → Agent definitions (dispatched by skills, not invocable directly)
  hooks/ → hooks.json + content files (lifecycle automation)
  .claude-plugin/ → plugin.json manifest
  settings.json → Plugin-scoped settings

The Pipeline

brainstorm → story → plan → build → review → ship
                                  | |
                                debug wrap

Distribution

Source repo: nicodiansk/turbocharge (this repo — single source of truth)
Install: claude plugin marketplace add nicodiansk/turbocharge
              claude plugin install turbocharge@turbocharge
Update: claude plugin update turbocharge@turbocharge
Local dev: claude --plugin-dir /path/to/turbocharge

Domain Terms

Term Definition
Skill A SKILL.md file in skills/<name>/ — becomes /turbocharge:<name>
Agent A markdown file in agents/ — dispatched by skills via the Agent tool
Hook Shell command executed at lifecycle events (SessionStart)
Marketplace GitHub repo with .claude-plugin/marketplace.json that indexes plugins — lives at the root of this repo (nicodiansk/turbocharge) as of v2.3.0; previously a sibling turbocharge-marketplace repo (deleted 2026-04-13)
Iron Law An enforced constraint (not a suggestion) baked into skill definitions
Red Flag Anti-rationalization table that catches Claude skipping process steps
ATLAS.md Semantic domain map generated by /turbocharge:atlas in user projects (Where to Look, Entry Points, Module Map, Key Symbols, Integration Points, Conventions & Gotchas). Where to Look table pre-loaded by SessionStart hook (remaining sections available via Read on demand); injected into dispatch prompts for planner, researcher, and code-reviewer agents; nudged by SessionStart when absent; staleness detected via <!-- atlas-hash:XXXX --> footer. This plugin repo intentionally does NOT ship one — CLAUDE.md + README cover the same ground for a plugin blueprint.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
