nadlan-mcp: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

nadlan-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from nitzpo/nadlan-mcp. It costs 5,842 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for Nadlan-MCP, an MCP server that provides Israeli real-estate data from the government Govmap API. It documents ten tools for addresses, property deals, market trends, comparisons, valuations, and filters.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for developing or maintaining features such as address lookup, recent-deal searches, neighborhood analysis, price-per-square-metre trends, property comparisons, and comparable-property data.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent the project context and rules needed to work on this real-estate data server consistently.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.05842 $0.05842
Opus 5 $0.02921 $0.02921
Sonnet 5 $0.01168 $0.01168
Haiku 4.5 $0.00584 $0.00584

Security

Grade A, and why

nadlan-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

Nadlan-MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides Israeli real estate data to AI agents. It interfaces with the Israeli government's Govmap API to retrieve property deals, market trends, and real estate information.

Current Version: v2.0.0 (Pydantic models + outlier detection) Key Technology: FastMCP server exposing 10 tools for querying Israeli real estate data

Product Vision & Use Cases

See USECASES.md for the complete feature roadmap and user-facing capabilities.

Current Capabilities (✅ Implemented - All 10 MCP Tools)

  • Address & Location Services - Address autocomplete, location-based deal search
  • Real Estate Deal Analysis - Recent deals, street/neighborhood analysis, enhanced filtering
  • Market Intelligence - Trend analysis, price per sqm tracking, market activity metrics
  • Comparative Analysis - Multi-address comparison, investment insights
  • Valuation Data - Comparable properties, deal statistics, filtered deal sets
  • Enhanced Filtering - Property type, rooms, price range, area, floor (all deal functions)

Recent Completions (✅)

  • Phase 5: Expanded test coverage (84% coverage, 314 tests)
  • Outlier Detection System: IQR + percentage-based filtering for data quality
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions for code quality, testing, Claude Code integration
  • HTTP Server: Cloud deployment support via run_http_server.py

Future Features (📋 Planned)

  • Amenity Scoring - Comprehensive quality-of-life analysis using:
    • Google Places API / OpenStreetMap for amenity locations
    • Ministry of Education data for school rankings
    • Ministry of Health data for healthcare facility ratings
    • CBS demographic data
    • Public transport APIs
  • Caching system (in-memory → Redis)
  • Async/parallel processing
  • Multi-language support

Important Design Principle: The MCP provides data; the LLM provides intelligence. Avoid implementing complex analysis or predictions in the MCP layer - that's the LLM's job.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
