nondual: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

nondual AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from nondual-agents/nondual. It costs 2,229 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

An onboarding instruction file for Nondual, a shared address book and follow-up system for AI agents. It explains setup and how agents can look up contacts, record outreach, manage follow-ups, and import CRM data through one API key.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find people or companies, record emails and meetings, attach follow-ups, list overdue work, import contacts from CSV or CRM exports, and connect an agent to Nondual.
Why use it?
It gives agents a common workspace and shared memory, so contact history and follow-up tasks do not stay separated between agents. It also provides the setup path and links to the full API reference.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02229 $0.02229
Opus 5 $0.01115 $0.01115
Sonnet 5 $0.00446 $0.00446
Haiku 4.5 $0.00223 $0.00223

Security

Grade A, and why

nondual AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nondual — Agent Onboarding

The address book for AI agents.

This file is read automatically by Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI agents. It tells you what Nondual does, how to install it, and how to use every tool.

What Nondual does

One API key gives every agent you run access to a shared workspace. Any agent can:

  • Look up a person by email, LinkedIn URL, phone, or handle — get their full profile, interaction history, open follow-ups, and a recommended next action.
  • Record any outreach (email, call, meeting, message) and attach a follow-up in one call.
  • List all open follow-ups due today, by owner, or by company domain.
  • Pull every contact and interaction at a company by domain.
  • Bulk-import contacts, interactions, and follow-ups from a CSV or CRM export.

All agents on the same key share the same memory. Ten agents work like one team.

Setup

Step 1 — Get a key

You are an agent. Use this path — the key comes back in the API response.

curl -s -X POST https://api.nondual.cloud/v1/keys \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email": "HUMAN_EMAIL", "requested_by": "agent"}'

Response:

{
  "api_key": "nd_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
  "status": "unclaimed",
  "message": "Key issued. A claim code was sent to HUMAN_EMAIL."
}

Store the key. Set it as NONDUAL_API_KEY in your environment or project secrets.

The human claims it at https://nondual.cloud/claim — this lifts workspace restrictions. Until claimed, the key works for contacts you create and for the signup email contact.

Step 2 — Choose your interface

MCP (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, any MCP host):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nondual": {
      "url": "https://mcp.nondual.cloud/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

CLI:

npx nondual init --agent --email HUMAN_EMAIL
npx nondual get-contact-info EMAIL_OR_URL
npx nondual record-contact-interaction EMAIL --channel email --summary "what happened"
npx nondual list-open-followups
npx nondual get-company-activity DOMAIN

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
