CLAUDE.md

notepm-mcp-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from nonz250/notepm-mcp-server. It costs 825 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for an unofficial NotePM MCP server. NotePM is a Japanese wiki-style documentation service, and the server lets Claude interact with its API.

In plain words
What is it for?
They are for setting up NotePM access, running the server, developing its TypeScript code, and checking it with tests and formatting tools.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the project structure, configuration values, and commands needed to build, test, lint, format, and develop the server.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00825 $0.00825
Opus 5 $0.00413 $0.00413
Sonnet 5 $0.00165 $0.00165
Haiku 4.5 $0.00082 $0.00082

Measured 9d ago against content hash e11aeacf9954, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

notepm-mcp-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Architecture

Entry Point and Server Setup

  • src/index.ts - MCP server initialization using @modelcontextprotocol/sdk. Uses stdio transport for communication.

Shared Layer (src/shared/)

  • config.ts - Loads configuration from environment variables:
    • NOTEPM_TEAM_DOMAIN - Team subdomain (e.g., "demo" → demo.notepm.jp)
    • NOTEPM_ACCESS_TOKEN - API access token
  • http-client.ts - Base HTTP client for NotePM REST API
  • errors.ts - Custom error classes (NotePMAPIError, InputError)
  • schema-utils.ts - Zod to JSON Schema conversion utilities
  • types.ts - Shared types (User, Tag, PaginationMeta)
  • result.ts - Result builder utilities for MCP responses

MCP Layer (src/mcp/)

  • tools.ts - Aggregates all domain tools into a single list
  • handler.ts - Routes tool calls to appropriate domain handlers

Domain Modules

Each domain follows a consistent structure:

src/{domain}/
├── types.ts # Domain types and tool name constants
├── schemas.ts # Zod input schemas (single source of truth)
├── client.ts # HTTP client methods for the domain
├── handlers.ts # Tool execution logic
├── tools.ts # MCP tool definitions
└── index.ts # Public API re-exports

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
