Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00686 | $0.00686 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00343 | $0.00343 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00137 | $0.00137 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00069 | $0.00069 |
Grade B, and why
octodamus-core CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Reads agent configuration directoriesmediumAgent snooping
.claude/, .codex/, .gemini/ hold keys, settings and other credentials a mod has no legitimate need for.
**Context7 MCP** — When integrating a new API/SDK, say "use Context7 for [library] docs" and it pulls the latest compressed documentation automatically. MCP is wired in `~/.claude/settings.json`. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 56 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Hard Rules
Verify date/time from system clock — never infer from context. python -c "from datetime import datetime; print(datetime.now().strftime('%A, %B %d %Y %I:%M %p'))"
octodamus.com deploys via GitHub push only. Never suggest manual upload, SFTP, or Cloudflare dashboard.
Math accuracy is mandatory. Tax on gains only, not total value. CORRECT: 1 + (10.9 - 1) × 0.63 = 6.67x kept WRONG: 10.9 × 0.63 = 6.87x kept Omit any calculation you're unsure about rather than guess.
Claude Code Tips
ultrathink — Append to any message to trigger extended thinking. Use for complex bugs, signal wiring, or architecture decisions. No meaningful token cost difference; use freely.
Plan mode — Shift+Tab before making large changes. Claude presents a plan for approval before touching code.
Background tasks — "Run the runner in the background" during debug sessions. Claude keeps the process alive and reads logs directly.
Context7 MCP — When integrating a new API/SDK, say "use Context7 for [library] docs" and it pulls the latest compressed documentation automatically. MCP is wired in ~/.claude/settings.json.
Current Project State
Read .claude/project_state.md for live system status, pending work, and key decisions.
Update it at the end of every significant session.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

octodamus-core CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository Octodamus/octodamus-core (1 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 686 tokens to every session, about $0.0034 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (reads agent configuration directories). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
