Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00575 | $0.00575 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00287 | $0.00287 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00115 | $0.00115 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00057 | $0.00057 |
Grade A, and why
vv-claude-harness CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 38 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
@AGENTS.md
Claude Code
This section is Claude-specific overlay only; everything agent-agnostic lives in
AGENTS.md above (imported via the documented @path syntax -- see
https://code.claude.com/docs/en/memory#agentsmd). Do not restate a fact from
AGENTS.md here; if a Claude-specific detail and an AGENTS.md fact start to overlap,
fix AGENTS.md, don't duplicate it here.
Harness
This project uses the Long-Running Agent Harness (vv-harness plugin) to manage its own v5 upgrade (Linear epic OVI-44). The distribution-content caveat above still applies: templates/, rules/, and skills/ remain plugin source, but .harness/ and .claude/ are live project state for this repo.
- Feature tracking:
.harness/features.json(F001–F021 mirror the OVI-44 sub-issues) - Context and decisions:
.harness/context_summary.md(READ THIS at session start) - Progress handoff:
.harness/claude-progress.txt - Build/test:
.harness/init.sh(smoke_test= shell syntax + manifest JSON checks;full_test=bash test/run-tests.sh) - Quality gates:
.claude/hooks/(TaskCompleted, scope, git identity)
Harness Prep: Risk/Lane Self-Classification
When /harness-issue-prep needs lane/risk for a readiness stamp, apply the existing dynamic-override heuristic in rules/parallel-work.md (10+ files, cross-cutting concerns, security-sensitive code, first feature in a new codebase → elevated) without asking. Only ask when the call is genuinely close.
Path Resolution and Hook Testing
Skill/rule/agent content shipped by this plugin references other shipped files via
${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/path/to/file, Claude Code's runtime plugin-cache variable --
never a bare repo-relative path, since the installed cache path differs from this
checkout. Use the same convention when editing skills/, rules/, or agents/.
Most files under hooks/ and the .sh.template/.py.template files under
skills/harness-init/ are Claude Code lifecycle hooks (e.g. SessionStart, SessionEnd,
PreToolUse, PostToolUse, TaskCompleted; statusline.sh is not a
lifecycle hook). Test one directly the way .claude/settings.json invokes it:
echo '{}' | CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR=<project> bash <hook>.sh, matching
test/run-tests.sh's own run_hook helper.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

vv-claude-harness CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository oeftimie/vv-claude-harness (19 stars, last pushed 18d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 575 tokens to every session, about $0.0029 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
