AGENTS.md

mcp-servercard-go AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from olgasafonova/mcp-servercard-go. It costs 1,281 tokens per session, scanned C, a copy of Axiom AGENTS.md, MIT.

Repository instructions for mcp-servercard-go, including its issue-tracking workflow and shell-command rules. They explain how to use beads, a tool for tracking development tasks, and how to prevent file commands from waiting for confirmation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Finding and claiming tasks, updating or closing issues, pushing issue data, and running copying, moving, deleting, or remote commands non-interactively.
Why use it?
They reduce the risk of lost or untracked work and keep automated sessions from hanging on interactive prompts.

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01281 $0.01281
Opus 5 $0.00641 $0.00641
Sonnet 5 $0.00256 $0.00256
Haiku 4.5 $0.00128 $0.00128

Security

Grade C, and why

mcp-servercard-go AGENTS.md scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Recursive force deletehighDestructive command

rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.

Agent Instructions

This project uses bd (beads) for issue tracking. Run bd prime for full workflow context.

Quick Reference

bd ready # Find available work
bd show <id> # View issue details
bd update <id> --claim # Claim work atomically
bd close <id> # Complete work
bd dolt push # Push beads data to remote

Non-Interactive Shell Commands

ALWAYS use non-interactive flags with file operations to avoid hanging on confirmation prompts.

Shell commands like cp, mv, and rm may be aliased to include -i (interactive) mode on some systems, causing the agent to hang indefinitely waiting for y/n input.

Use these forms instead:

# Force overwrite without prompting
cp -f source dest # NOT: cp source dest
mv -f source dest # NOT: mv source dest
rm -f file # NOT: rm file

# For recursive operations
rm -rf directory # NOT: rm -r directory
cp -rf source dest # NOT: cp -r source dest

Other commands that may prompt:

  • scp - use -o BatchMode=yes for non-interactive
  • ssh - use -o BatchMode=yes to fail instead of prompting
  • apt-get - use -y flag
  • brew - use HOMEBREW_NO_AUTO_UPDATE=1 env var

Beads Issue Tracker

This project uses bd (beads) for issue tracking. Run bd prime to see full workflow context and commands.

Quick Reference

bd ready # Find available work
bd show <id> # View issue details
bd update <id> --claim # Claim work
bd close <id> # Complete work

Rules

  • Use bd for ALL task tracking — do NOT use TodoWrite, TaskCreate, or markdown TODO lists
  • Run bd prime for detailed command reference and session close protocol
  • Use bd remember for persistent knowledge — do NOT use MEMORY.md files

Architecture in one line: issues live in a local Dolt DB; sync uses refs/dolt/data on your git remote; .beads/issues.jsonl is a passive export. See https://github.com/gastownhall/beads/blob/main/docs/SYNC_CONCEPTS.md for details and anti-patterns.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
