CLAUDE.md

productplan-mcp-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from olgasafonova/productplan-mcp-server. It costs 500 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of Axiom AGENTS.md, MIT.

Project instructions for working on a ProductPlan API integration, including how to build and test the project and how to track work with the Beads issue tracker.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when changing this project, running its checks, building the binary, running MCP integration tests, or managing work through Beads.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project's required commands, notes, and workflow rules in one place. This helps keep implementation, issue tracking, and session wrap-up consistent.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00500 $0.00500
Opus 5 $0.00250 $0.00250
Sonnet 5 $0.00100 $0.00100
Haiku 4.5 $0.00050 $0.00050

Measured 9d ago against content hash 08ed981e24f6, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

productplan-mcp-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Build & Test

make check # Lint + tests
go test ./... # Run tests
go build . # Build binary
npm run test:mcp # MCP integration tests

Project Notes

  • ProductPlan API integration for roadmap management
  • API token authentication
  • Evals suite in /evals directory

Beads Issue Tracker

This project uses bd (beads) for issue tracking. Run bd prime to see full workflow context and commands.

Quick Reference

bd ready # Find available work
bd show <id> # View issue details
bd update <id> --claim # Claim work
bd close <id> # Complete work

Rules

  • Use bd for ALL task tracking — do NOT use TodoWrite, TaskCreate, or markdown TODO lists
  • Run bd prime for detailed command reference and session close protocol
  • Use bd remember for persistent knowledge — do NOT use MEMORY.md files

Session Completion

When ending a work session, you MUST complete ALL steps below. Work is NOT complete until git push succeeds.

MANDATORY WORKFLOW:

  1. File issues for remaining work - Create issues for anything that needs follow-up
  2. Run quality gates (if code changed) - Tests, linters, builds
  3. Update issue status - Close finished work, update in-progress items
  4. PUSH TO REMOTE - This is MANDATORY:
    git pull --rebase
    bd dolt push
    git push
git status # MUST show "up to date with origin"

  5. Clean up - Clear stashes, prune remote branches
  6. Verify - All changes committed AND pushed
  7. Hand off - Provide context for next session

CRITICAL RULES:

  • Work is NOT complete until git push succeeds
  • NEVER stop before pushing - that leaves work stranded locally
  • NEVER say "ready to push when you are" - YOU must push
  • If push fails, resolve and retry until it succeeds
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
