AGENTS.md

autofix-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode from opendatahub-io/autofix-skills. It costs 1,531 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for autofix-skills, a Claude Code plugin that coordinates automated fixes for Jira issues, including security vulnerabilities.

In plain words
What is it for?
Working on autofix pipelines, CVE fixes, bug triage, repository selection, state tracking, and related scripts or hooks.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project structure, workflow rules, hooks, and required output formats needed to work in that repository.

Instructions file for Claude CodeCodexOpenCode

Written for Claude Code and Codex and OpenCode: ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR} variable, but also the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions subagents; mentions Claude Code.

This is opendatahub-io/autofix-skills's own configuration. It tells Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode how to work on autofix-skills itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything autofix-skills configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01531 $0.01531
Opus 5 $0.00766 $0.00766
Sonnet 5 $0.00306 $0.00306
Haiku 4.5 $0.00153 $0.00153

Security

Grade A, and why

autofix-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Claude Code plugin providing orchestrator skills, prompt files, and state management scripts for the Jira autofix pipeline.

hooks/ Claude Code event hooks
hooks.json SessionStart hook for context-compression recovery

Hooks

The SessionStart hook in hooks/hooks.json runs tmp/dispatch-recovery.sh after context compression to restore orchestrator state. This bootstrap script is generated by state.py init during skill initialization — it embeds the absolute path to state.py so the hook can locate it without ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR} (which is only available during skill execution). The hook is a no-op if the bootstrap script doesn't exist, i.e. before any skill has run state.py init.

Architecture

This plugin implements the inner layer of the autofix pipeline. The outer layer (ticket fetching, repo cloning, container launch, verdict reading, push, labeling) lives in jira-autofix and agentic-ci.

Orchestrator skills (autofix-resolve, autofix-cve-resolve) are dispatchers — they call sub-agents via prompt files and delegate deterministic work to Python scripts. They never contain domain logic directly.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
