Orbiads-GAM-MCP: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

Orbiads-GAM-MCP CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from OrbiAds/Orbiads-GAM-MCP. It costs 2,426 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository guidance for OrbiAds, a project that publishes a Claude Code plugin, Python command-line tool, and MCP server. It explains the project structure, generated files, and where changes should be made.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on the OrbiAds repository, especially to understand its generated documentation, source-of-truth files, project layout, and Claude Code workflow.
Why use it?
It prevents developers from editing generated files that will be replaced or rejected by automated checks. It also clarifies which instructions apply inside the repository versus when using its services from another project.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: Claude Code plugin machinery. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents.

This is OrbiAds/Orbiads-GAM-MCP's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on Orbiads-GAM-MCP itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything Orbiads-GAM-MCP configures →

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is python ../scripts/generate_skills/generate.py --check.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02426 $0.02426
Opus 5 $0.01213 $0.01213
Sonnet 5 $0.00485 $0.00485
Haiku 4.5 $0.00243 $0.00243

Measured 10d ago against content hash c7c834510a90, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

Orbiads-GAM-MCP CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

OrbiAds — Claude Code Project Guidance

This file is read by Claude Code when working IN this repo. For agents working THROUGH this repo (calling the OrbiAds MCP server or CLI from another project), see AGENTS.md — it covers cross-LLM boundaries (Cursor, Codex, Gemini, etc.) and the OrbiAds surface contract.

What this repo is

The public mirror of the OrbiAds client-facing surface. Published as a Claude Code plugin (@orbiads) + Python CLI (orbiads-cli) + MCP server (https://orbiads.com/mcp).

The private server-side repository is the source of truth. This repo is read-mostly — most of its files are generated from the server-side code by scripts/generate_skills/generate.py and protected by a CI drift gate. Hand-edit a generated file → CI fails. Edits go to the server-side source instead, then re-run the generator.

Generated vs hand-authored — IMPORTANT for Claude Code

File / directory Generated? Source of truth Edit policy
version.json ✅ generated scripts/generate_skills/lib/generators/version_bump.py + catalogue state DO NOT EDIT — re-run generator
CHANGELOG.md ✅ generated (idempotent prepend) same DO NOT EDIT existing entries; new entries are prepended by the generator
docs/tool-matrix/README.md ✅ generated server-side MCP tool definitions via AST DO NOT EDIT
_docs/legacy-tool-mapping.md ✅ generated @deprecated_tool decorators in server-side MCP tool definitions DO NOT EDIT
skills/<group>/SKILL.md ✅ generated (Story 81.2+) group metadata from catalogue DO NOT EDIT
skills/<group>/references/actions.md ✅ generated (Story 81.2+) per-action catalogue + CLI column from cli/parity-matrix.json DO NOT EDIT
skills/orbiads/SKILL.md ❌ hand-authored this file EDIT — it's the orchestrator narrative
AGENTS.md ❌ hand-authored this file EDIT — cross-LLM contract, careful with breaking changes
CLAUDE.md ❌ hand-authored this file EDIT — Claude-internal guidance
README.md ❌ hand-authored this file EDIT — GitHub human-facing
.claude-plugin/plugin.json ❌ hand-authored (version field bumped manually for now) this file EDIT — manifest evolves with packaging changes
.claude-plugin/marketplace.json ❌ hand-authored this file EDIT
cli/parity-matrix.json semi-generated external scripts/coverage-audit/ pipeline EDIT via that pipeline — DO NOT hand-edit

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
