fcp-drawio: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

fcp-drawio CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from os-tack/fcp-drawio. It costs 373 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for fcp-drawio, an MCP server that lets an AI create and edit draw.io diagrams through text operations. MCP is a standard way for an AI to call tools provided by another program.

In plain words
What is it for?
They help navigate the parser, semantic model, layout, XML serialization, server, and component library, and specify how to build and test the TypeScript project.
Why use it?
They give agents the project’s architecture, important directories, implementation approach, and commands needed to work consistently.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00373 $0.00373
Opus 5 $0.00187 $0.00187
Sonnet 5 $0.00075 $0.00075
Haiku 4.5 $0.00037 $0.00037

Measured 7d ago against content hash 272fc4807018, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

fcp-drawio CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

fcp-drawio

Project Overview

MCP server that lets LLMs create/edit draw.io diagrams through intent-level operation strings. See docs/ for design documents and specifications.

Architecture

4-layer architecture:

  1. MCP Server (Intent Layer) - src/server/ - Parses op strings, resolves refs, dispatches
  2. Semantic Model (Domain Brain) - src/model/ - In-memory entity graph, event sourcing
  3. Layout + Rendering - Part of model layer for Phase 1 (basic positioning)
  4. Serialization - src/serialization/ - Semantic model ↔ mxGraphModel XML

Implementation Tier: Tier 3 (no native TypeScript SDK for draw.io). The DiagramModel semantic model + custom XML serializer is the correct pattern for this tier. See fcp-core/spec/implementation-guide.md.

Key Directories

  • src/types/ - Core TypeScript interfaces
  • src/model/ - Semantic model, event sourcing, reference registry
  • src/parser/ - Operation string parser
  • src/serialization/ - XML serialization/deserialization
  • src/server/ - MCP server, tools, intent layer
  • src/lib/ - Component library, themes, type resolver

Commands

  • npm run build - Compile TypeScript
  • npm test - Run tests (vitest)
  • npm run test:watch - Watch mode
  • npm run dev - Watch TypeScript compilation

Conventions

  • TypeScript strict mode
  • ESM modules (type: "module")
  • Tests co-located as *.test.ts files
  • vitest for testing
  • No maxGraph dependency - direct XML generation
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fcp-drawio CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository os-tack/fcp-drawio (4 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 373 tokens to every session, about $0.0019 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
