onyx — Context Primer for Gemini

onyx is the AI game-dev studio for Onyx Engine — the AI-native game engine. When you see this file in a session, it means the user has installed the onyx Gemini extension and you have access to the onyx-engine MCP server plus onyx skills under the onyx: namespace.

What Onyx Engine is

A game engine designed for AI agents — editor, scene graph, asset pipeline, and runtime are all instrumented for programmatic control via MCP. Onyx Engine is compatible with Godot 4.6.3: projects use GDScript (.gd), C# (.cs), scenes (.tscn/.scn), and resources (.tres/.res).
