wardleyToGo: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

wardleyToGo CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from owulveryck/wardleyToGo. It costs 1,004 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for WardleyToGo, a Go library and toolset for creating and rendering Wardley Maps. A Wardley Map shows components and their relationships, and the project can turn its WTG2 text format into SVG images.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when working on the Go map library, WTG2 parser, SVG renderer, or browser-based WebAssembly playground.
Why use it?
They explain the project's main structures, parser, renderer, and WebAssembly demo. This makes it easier to change map data, read WTG2 files, or produce SVG output correctly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01004 $0.01004
Opus 5 $0.00502 $0.00502
Sonnet 5 $0.00201 $0.00201
Haiku 4.5 $0.00100 $0.00100

Security

Grade A, and why

wardleyToGo CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

WardleyToGo is a Go library and set of tools for creating and rendering Wardley Maps. It consists of:

  • Core library (github.com/owulveryck/wardleyToGo): A Go SDK providing primitives to code Wardley Maps as graphs
  • WTG2 DSL: A high-level domain-specific language for designing Wardley Maps (grammar in wtg2/grammar.bnf)
  • SVG renderer: Renders maps to SVG format with embedded CSS/JS
  • WebAssembly demo: Interactive playground for WTG2 DSL

Key Architecture

Core Components

  • Map (map.go): Central structure representing a Wardley Map as a directed graph using internal/graph
  • Component (defs.go): Interface for map elements with positions on a 100x100 coordinate system
  • Collaboration (collaboration.go): Interface for edges/relationships between components
  • Area: Interface for rectangular regions on the map

Parser

  • WTG2 parser (parser/wtg2/): Parses the WTG2 domain-specific language into an AST, then builds a wardleyToGo.Map

Encoder

  • SVG encoder (encoding/svg/): Renders maps to SVG format with embedded CSS/JS

Component Types

  • Wardley components (components/wardley/): Traditional Wardley Map components with evolution stages

Experimental (exp/)

  • OWM parser (exp/parser_owm/): Parser for OnlineWardleyMaps format (experimental)
  • Team Topologies (exp/teamtopologies/): Team collaboration patterns (experimental)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

wardleyToGo CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository owulveryck/wardleyToGo (58 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,004 tokens to every session, about $0.0050 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
