Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00386 | $0.00386 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00193 | $0.00193 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00077 | $0.00077 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00039 | $0.00039 |
Grade A, and why
safe-runbook-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
AGENTS.md
Instructions for AI coding agents working in this repository.
Goal
Keep safe-runbook-mcp small, auditable, and secure by default. An agent may select a reviewed runbook; it must never gain a general-purpose shell through this project.
Branch workflow
- Never push directly to
mainordevelop. - Branch from
developusingfeature/<name>,fix/<name>, ordocs/<name>. - Open a pull request into
develop; promote tested releases fromdeveloptomain. - Keep commits focused and use Conventional Commit messages.
Non-negotiable safety rules
- Execution stays disabled by default.
- Never add an arbitrary command, shell script,
eval, exec, orshell: truepath. - Every executable must pass the exact allowlist.
- Variables must be schema-validated and occupy a complete argv item.
- Resolve and confine every working directory with real paths; test symlink escapes.
- Mutating and destructive plans require approval bound to the exact plan hash.
- Approval tokens are created out-of-band, expire quickly, and never appear in logs.
- Preserve timeout, output-size limits, environment minimization, and secret redaction.
- stdout belongs to MCP protocol traffic; write server diagnostics to stderr.
Runbook review
For each new runbook, verify its risk level, executable, fixed arguments, variable patterns, working directory, timeout, failure behavior, and least-privilege requirements. Prefer several narrow runbooks over one flexible runbook.
Required checks
Run before opening a pull request:
npm run check
npm run typecheck
npm test
npm run build
docker build -t safe-runbook-mcp .
Add regression tests for security-boundary changes. Do not weaken a failing safety test to make CI pass.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

safe-runbook-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository PanuwatChinpratan/safe-runbook-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 386 tokens to every session, about $0.0019 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
