Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00334 $0.00334
Opus 5.5 $0.00134 $0.00134
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00067 $0.00067
Haiku 4.5 $0.00033 $0.00033

Measured 5d ago against content hash 9829c7653d97, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

recruiter-roles-mcp GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Recruiter Roles

This extension connects Gemini CLI to the Recruiter Roles job board (https://recruiterroles.com): live recruiter, talent-acquisition, and staffing jobs, plus company profiles, sectors, locations, and market stats. Every tool is read-only.

Using the tools

  • Start with search_jobs. Filter by sector, location, salary, remote/hybrid, recency, or a full-text q. Then call get_job with a job slug for the full description, requirements, benefits, and apply details.
  • sector and location filters need exact slugs or codes. Fetch them from list_sectors and list_locations before filtering.
  • Use list_companies and get_company for recruiting agencies and employers, and market_stats for aggregate trends (totals, posting velocity, breakdowns).
  • All tools share one API key and a 1,000 requests/day limit. Prefer narrow filters and sensible per_page values over broad scans.
  • When linking to a job, use its url field (a tracked link), not canonical_url.

Setup

The extension needs a free Recruiter Roles API key (rr_live_...). Create one at https://recruiterroles.com/api-access and enter it when prompted on install, or later with gemini extensions config recruiter-roles-mcp.

Attribution

Any page or product that publishes data obtained through these tools must include a visible, crawlable link back to https://recruiterroles.com.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
