pivoshenko.ai: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

pivoshenko.ai CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from pivoshenko/pivoshenko.ai. It costs 1,903 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for the pivoshenko.ai code repository. It explains the repository’s purpose, its agent configuration files, its website, and the commands used to check or build them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on the repository’s skills, tools, instructions, website, or synchronization setup. It is reference material for development tasks rather than a user-facing feature.
Why use it?
It gives coding agents the local rules and layout they need before changing files. This reduces mistakes in configuration, assets, formatting, and the process that synchronizes files elsewhere.

Written for Claude Code: the file is CLAUDE.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code.

This is pivoshenko/pivoshenko.ai's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on pivoshenko.ai itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything pivoshenko.ai configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01903 $0.01903
Opus 5 $0.00951 $0.00951
Sonnet 5 $0.00381 $0.00381
Haiku 4.5 $0.00190 $0.00190

Security

Grade A, and why

pivoshenko.ai CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.

What this repo is

pivoshenko's AI agent workspace. Two things live here:

  1. Source of truth for agent config — locally authored skills (skills/), MCP definitions (mcps/), and instruction rules (instructions/), plus kasetto.yaml, which lists both the local assets and the external upstream repos to pull from. Kasetto (kst sync) distributes all of it into ~/.claude/. Instructions land in ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md as managed blocks, so the files in instructions/ are the global agent rules.
  2. site/ — a Next.js catalog viewer at ai.pivoshenko.dev that reads the files above off the parent filesystem at build time.

Most edits here are Markdown/YAML/JSON config, not code.

Commands

All recipes run from the repo root and delegate into site/ (just + pnpm; Node >= 24, pnpm 10.30.3 pinned via packageManager).

just install # pnpm -C site install
just dev # next dev --turbopack
just check # biome check . --write, then next build (run before committing)
just lint # biome lint . (read-only, what CI runs)
just format # biome format . --write
just build # next build
just start # build + next start
just audit # pnpm audit
just update # pnpm update
just test # no-op while the `.no-tests` sentinel exists

There is no test suite. just test succeeds only because the empty .no-tests file at the repo root exists; deleting it makes the recipe fail hard (and breaks CI) until a real test command replaces it.

CI (.github/workflows/ci.yaml, push to main + PRs, ubuntu-24.04-arm, Node 24) runs just install && just lint && just audit && just test && just build. CI uses lint (non-writing) while local just check writes fixes — run just check locally so CI's lint stays clean.

Asset layout and the sync contract

  • kasetto.yaml decides what actually syncs. The local source (github.com/pivoshenko/pivoshenko.ai) uses "*" for instructions and skills, so new files in those dirs sync automatically. mcps are enumerated by name (currently github, vercel, cloudflare, logfire), so adding mcps/foo.json also requires adding foo to the mcps: list. mcps/motherduck.json and mcps/supabase.json exist on disk but are not listed — they show on the site (which globs mcps/*.json) and do not sync.
  • skills/<slug>/SKILL.md is required; references/, scripts/, assets/ are optional siblings loaded on demand (see skills/pivoshenko-brand for the full shape).
  • instructions/<slug>.md — one rule per file, frontmatter + rule body.
  • mcps/<name>.json — shape is { "mcpServers": { "<name>": { ... } } }. Secrets are Kasetto placeholders (${kst_github_token}), never literals.
  • archive/ mirrors the live layout (archive/skills/, archive/instructions/, archive/scripts/). Kasetto only pulls from the top-level dirs, so retire by moving here, not deleting — the site still renders archived skills/instructions in a dimmed section.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
