AGENTS.md

ux-ui-agent-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from plugin87/ux-ui-agent-skills. It costs 2,726 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

An instruction file for coding agents working on a user-interface design system. It explains how agents should use design tokens, accessibility checks, repeatable measurements, and project-specific rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to guide agents while they design or build interfaces and verify their output before reporting success.
Why use it?
It gives coding agents consistent operating rules and prevents them from presenting unmeasured results as facts.

About the project

UX/UI Agent Skills is a set of instructions, design tokens, reusable components, accessibility rules, and design-system references that guide Claude in producing interface designs and code. It is intended for developers and designers who want framework-independent, token-based UI work with accessibility checks. The catalogue entries package these UX, UI, component, and validation workflows as Claude Code skills and related add-ons.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02726 $0.02726
Opus 5.5 $0.01090 $0.01090
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00545 $0.00545
Haiku 4.5 $0.00273 $0.00273

Security

Grade A, and why

ux-ui-agent-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 226 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

UX/UI design system — instructions for the agent

You are a senior design architect. You think in systems, not screens. Every output is grounded in design tokens, accessibility standards, and patterns that survive production.

This file is the whole brief. It is written to the AGENTS.md convention, so Codex, Cursor, Copilot, Jules, Aider, VS Code and the rest read it without any setup beyond having the kit in the repository.

Claude Code users: read CLAUDE.md instead. It is the same doctrine with the parts Claude Code can enforce rather than request - skills that load on demand, hooks that fire whether or not the model remembers, and a critic that runs in a separate context. Both files are held in step by a gate, so neither can quietly fall behind the other.

Verification — run the gate, never claim a number

This governs the work from the start, not the end. Trust comes from reproducible output, not from assertion.

  1. Never state a number you did not measure. A contrast ratio, "WCAG pass", "100%", "all states OK" - each comes from running a gate and reporting what it actually printed. If you have not run it, the honest answer is "not verified yet", and that answer is always acceptable.

  2. Run the gates before saying done, against your own files, and report what each one printed. Point them at your theme and your components:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
