Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.04189 | $0.04189 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.01676 | $0.01676 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00838 | $0.00838 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00419 | $0.00419 |
Grade A, and why
Vocello CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 217 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md
Claude Code is the lead engineer on the existing local main checkout: it owns implementation,
verification and integration. Carry authorized work through to a reviewable result, make routine
engineering decisions, use the smallest meaningful checks, fix failures and commit scoped changes.
Pushes require an explicit request, including commits already waiting to be pushed. Preserve
unrelated edits and prior commits; stage explicit paths, never stash or broadly stage.
Start here
- The SessionStart hook prints branch/dirty state, open agent worktrees,
scripts/dev.sh status, cache health and the Resume now head ofdocs/development-progress.md. Without it, rungit status --short --branch,git rev-parse HEAD,python3 scripts/roadmap.py statusand read Resume now. Reconcile overlapping changes before editing. - Domain rules load on demand:
.claude/rules/native.md(Swift, packages, tests, project.yml) and.claude/rules/tooling.md(scripts, CI, config, evidence) are symlinks todocs/reference/native-engineering.mdanddocs/reference/tooling-and-evidence.md.website/CLAUDE.mdloads for website work. The daily loop, CI, agents, hooks, permissions and tool routing are indocs/reference/development-workflow.md. - Inspect source and tests. Load relevant Axiom skills for Apple domains and the swift-mlx skills for runtime changes; load only what applies.
- Implement, verify, review the actual diff and commit the assigned files on
main. Substantive Swift changes get thevocello-swift-reviewagent; hooks, security, persistence and release changes get a focused review (/code-review,/security-review). Record larger unrelated work in the roadmap. - Report results, evidence and real limitations. Update the roadmap and checkpoint when status changes; do not create another task ledger.
Product and authority
Vocello is local-first Qwen3-TTS on MLX in Swift 6. macOS and iOS host the runtime in-process; the
repository also owns the vocello CLI, Python tooling and the React/Vite website. No bundled weights
and no cloud inference. iOS is compile-safe only on main; the iOS app is iPhone-only.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
