CLAUDE.md

Equity-Research-Company CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from pppop00/Equity-Research-Company. It costs 2,268 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of Equity-Research-Company AGENTS.md, Apache-2.0.

Repository-specific instructions for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant, covering commands, project structure, startup steps, and a record-keeping pattern.

In plain words
What is it for?
Running tests, validating workflow metadata, extracting report templates, and following the repository’s required startup and research procedures.
Why use it?
They give the assistant the project context and exact checks needed to work consistently without guessing how the repository is organized.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02268 $0.02268
Opus 5 $0.01134 $0.01134
Sonnet 5 $0.00454 $0.00454
Haiku 4.5 $0.00227 $0.00227

Security

Grade A, and why

Equity-Research-Company CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Commands

Run all tests:

python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v

Validate machine-readable workflow contract:

python3 scripts/validate_workflow_meta.py --meta workflow_meta.json

Run a single test class or method:

python3 -m unittest tests.test_extract_report_template.TestSha256Stable -v
python3 -m unittest tests.test_extract_report_template.TestSha256Stable.test_cn_hash_matches_known_snapshot -v

Extract the locked HTML skeleton (for auditing or Phase 5 generation):

python3 scripts/extract_report_template.py --lang cn --sha256 -o workspace/MyCo_2026-04-08/_locked_cn_skeleton.html
python3 scripts/extract_report_template.py --lang en --sha256 -o workspace/MyCo_2026-04-08/_locked_en_skeleton.html

US SEC EDGAR bundle (Agent 1 API-first path; orchestrator obtains a real user email per SKILL.md Step 0A.2, then passes --user-agent):

python3 scripts/sec_edgar_fetch.py --ticker MSFT --user-agent "EquityResearchSkill/1.0 ([email protected])" --report-date 2026-04-11 -o workspace/Microsoft_2026-04-11/sec_edgar_bundle.json

Capture a new failure rule (/log-incident):

# Backend that the /log-incident slash command shells out to. Read-only — does NOT modify INCIDENTS.md.
python3 tools/io/log_incident.py --collect --workspace workspace/<latest_run>/ --description "<one-line description>"

Architecture

This is an AI skill pack built on the Anamnesis Pattern — cross-session institutional memory plus scheduled adversarial review. The "code" is primarily markdown files that instruct AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) how to produce equity research reports under a closed-loop enforcement contract.

Boot order (every session)

  1. SKILL.md — orchestration entry; describes phases, agents, and the hard floor.
  2. MEMORY.md — project invariants (P0 gates, locked-template rule, QC scoring math, Porter orientation, tolerances). Frozen into the session's system prompt.
  3. INCIDENTS.md — append-only log of past failure modes, frozen into the same prompt. Read end-to-end at every session boot.
  4. workflow_meta.json — machine-readable phase + gate contract. The phase_order list now brackets the research/report phases with phase_incident_precheck (first) and phase_incident_postcheck (last), and inserts phase_5_7_red_team between Phase 5.5 and Phase 6.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
