abbyy-finereader-ocr-mcp: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

abbyy-finereader-ocr-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Prekzursil/abbyy-finereader-ocr-mcp. It costs 299 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for an OCR project, where OCR means turning text in images or scanned pages into editable text. They tell people and AI agents how to verify changes, preserve checks, add tests and use pull requests.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them as contribution rules for testing, coverage, linting, security findings, dependency updates and CI. CI is the automated system that checks changes.
Why use it?
They reduce the risk of declaring unfinished or unsafe code complete, weakening quality checks or pushing directly to the default branch.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00299 $0.00299
Opus 5.5 $0.00120 $0.00120
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00060 $0.00060
Haiku 4.5 $0.00030 $0.00030

Security

Grade A, and why

abbyy-finereader-ocr-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md — contributor rules (humans and automation)

These rules apply to every change in this repository, whether made by a person or by an AI agent acting on their behalf.

  1. Verify before claiming done. A change is done when CI says so, not when it looks right. bash scripts/verify runs the same lean gate CI runs, at the pinned platform commit.
  2. Never weaken a gate. Do not lower a coverage threshold, delete a lint/type/secret/dependency rule, or add an exclusion without a written, dated reason. Only ever make checks stricter or fix the finding.
  3. Tests ship with the change. New behavior arrives with the tests that pin it; the coverage gate measures what the tests actually cover.
  4. Never push to the default branch. Every change reaches the default branch through a pull request, green checks required.
  5. Security findings are fixed, not muted. Dependabot / CodeQL / gitleaks findings are resolved by version bumps or code fixes; an allowlist entry needs a review note and a date.
  6. Keep the platform pin current. .github/workflows/quality.yml and codeql.yml call quality-zero-platform reusable workflows pinned to a full 40-hex commit SHA; bump the pin deliberately, never to a branch.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
