Pseudolife-MCP: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

Pseudolife-MCP AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Pseudogiant-xr/Pseudolife-MCP. It costs 189 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A repository instruction file that points coding agents to the project's main CLAUDE.md file. That file contains the rules and conventions agents must read before changing the code.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for telling Claude Code, Codex, and other agents where to find repository-specific guidance before they edit files.
Why use it?
It gives different coding agents one shared source of project rules, reducing the chance that they follow outdated or inconsistent instructions.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code; mentions Codex.

This is Pseudogiant-xr/Pseudolife-MCP's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on Pseudolife-MCP itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything Pseudolife-MCP configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00189 $0.00189
Opus 5.5 $0.00076 $0.00076
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00038 $0.00038
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00019

Security

Grade A, and why

Pseudolife-MCP AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Pseudolife-MCP — agent instructions

This repository's conventions for coding agents live in one file: CLAUDE.md. They apply to every agent working here — Claude Code, Codex, or any other — not only Claude. Read it in full before changing anything, and follow it exactly: each rule exists because it was violated at least once.

Not the maintainer (usually contributing from a fork)? Read CONTRIBUTING.md's "Contributing with a coding agent" first: it lists what your pull request needs and which CLAUDE.md rules are the maintainer's to run, such as the review passes.

This file is a pointer so the two cannot drift apart. Edit CLAUDE.md, not this file; the contributor pointer above is the one exception.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
