gemini4codex-mcp AGENTS.md

gemini4codex-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from psychofanPLAYS/gemini4codex-mcp. It costs 245 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

AGENTS.md instructions for a Gemini MCP delegator project. They explain how agents collaborate, how isolated Git workspaces are used, and which changes require review before applying.

In plain words
What is it for?
They are for guiding scouting, reviewing, applying, and reporting changes in the Gemini delegator repository.
Why use it?
They provide rules for making delegated code changes safely and keeping worktree and database operations consistent.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: reads ~/.codex or $CODEX_HOME, but also the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions Codex.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00245 $0.00245
Opus 5 $0.00122 $0.00122
Sonnet 5 $0.00049 $0.00049
Haiku 4.5 $0.00024 $0.00024

Measured 5d ago against content hash 52250b9017b5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

gemini4codex-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent Collaboration & Development Guide

This repository contains the Gemini MCP delegator. Codex is the primary orchestrator and owns review, apply, commit, and push decisions.

Runtime

  • Workers run through the already-running Antigravity Desktop language server.
  • The bridge discovers the live local HTTP listener and never executes bootstrap instructions.
  • Git-backed tasks run in ~/.codex/gemini-delegator/worktrees/wt-<uuid>.
  • scout and reviewer profiles receive read-only instructions. Worktree isolation and Antigravity's own tool policy are the actual safety boundary.

Change invariants

  • WorktreeManager.apply_run stages a complete tracked/untracked patch with git apply --index; it never commits or merges automatically.
  • Reports must include uncommitted tracked changes and untracked files.
  • Normal worktree reuse and cleanup refuse dirty worktrees. Destructive cleanup is explicit and only used by apply/cancel after the caller chooses it.
  • Codex reviews the resulting diff before applying it to a target checkout.
  • Keep SQLite ledger operations consistent and use uv for dependencies.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
