android-harness-kit GEMINI.md

android-harness-kit GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from rabee-elkholy/android-harness-kit. It costs 182 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for building and reviewing an Android app with Gemini CLI or Antigravity. They specify the Gradle build command, how to choose a connected device, and which Git actions the agent must not perform.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when reviewing or assembling the Android project, checking connected devices with adb, or preparing a commit message without staging or committing files.
Why use it?
They make device selection and build checks consistent while keeping commits and other repository changes under the developer’s control. They also require a review step before assembling the app.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00182 $0.00182
Opus 5 $0.00091 $0.00091
Sonnet 5 $0.00036 $0.00036
Haiku 4.5 $0.00018 $0.00018

Measured 4d ago against content hash 40055fdc36c4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

android-harness-kit GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

android-harness-kit — Gemini CLI / Antigravity

Follow AGENTS.md and .agents/rules/harness-rules.md. That file wins.

  • Python: python
  • Assemble: python .agents/scripts/run_gradle_task.py :app:assembleDebug
  • Device: Physical device or emulator. Resolve the serial with adb devices. Prefer a physical device when both are connected. Never hardcode a serial.
  • The agent must not run git add, commit, push, merge, rebase, stash, or reset. Leave changes unstaged. Draft a Conventional Commit message only. The developer commits.

Antigravity loads .agents/hooks.json in this repo. Gemini CLI does not; still honor the five-leaf review before assemble. No code-review-guard-agent. No LGTM.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
