AGENTS.md

aisyncer AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Raccoon-Office/aisyncer. It costs 398 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for the Raccoon-Office/aisyncer project that define required rules for AI coding tools and contributors.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to follow the required read order, branch workflow, type checks, linting, tests, lockfile updates, documentation pairing, and tool-specific file locations.
Why use it?
They prevent workflow and platform-specific mistakes, such as committing directly to the main branch or skipping required checks.

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code.

This is Raccoon-Office/aisyncer's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on aisyncer itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything aisyncer configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00398 $0.00398
Opus 5.5 $0.00159 $0.00159
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00080 $0.00080
Haiku 4.5 $0.00040 $0.00040

Measured 2mo ago against content hash efd8aeda8ab7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

aisyncer AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md

This file defines mandatory collaboration rules for all AI coding tools used in this repository (Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, and others).

Read order:

  1. CLAUDE.md
  2. docs/ai-architecture-guardrails.md

Non-Negotiable Workflow

  1. Never commit directly to main. Use a feature/fix branch.
  2. Before commit, run:
    • npm run typecheck
    • npm run lint
    • npm test
  3. If package.json changes in a lockfile-affecting way (for example name, version, dependencies, overrides, or workspaces), package-lock.json must be updated in the same PR.
  4. If either README.md or README.zh-CN.md changes, both must be updated in the same PR.
  5. Respect platform-native path rules:
    • Claude: sync skills only (.claude/skills/...), do not create .claude/rules.
    • Codex: sync skills only (.agents/skills/...), do not create a rules directory; use AGENTS.md for project instructions.
    • Cursor: sync skills to .cursor/skills/... and workflows to .cursor/commands/<id>.md; Cursor project rules live in .cursor/rules/*.mdc and are not synced yet.
    • Windsurf: sync skills, flat rule files (.windsurf/rules/<id>.md), and workflows (.windsurf/workflows/<id>.md).
  6. PR title must follow conventional format:
    • <type>(<scope>): <Summary>
    • Example: fix(core): Align rules sync with platform paths

Required PR Notes

Every PR must include:

  • What changed
  • Why it changed
  • Risk/rollback notes
  • Commands run for validation
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
