Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00381 $0.00381
Opus 5 $0.00191 $0.00191
Sonnet 5 $0.00076 $0.00076
Haiku 4.5 $0.00038 $0.00038

Measured 9d ago against content hash 3ac9d6fc37d6, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

openwork-mcp-app-gallery-fable AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent contract

  • forward is the default, integration, and only release branch. Every PR targets forward; main and dev are not delivery branches. CI, CodeQL, and the Vercel Production Branch all point at forward.
  • Node 24.x + pnpm 10.28.0 (corepack enable && pnpm install --frozen-lockfile).
  • Run pnpm release:check before publishing a PR; it is the complete local release gate. Browser tests need pnpm exec playwright install chromium.
  • Runtime dependencies are pinned exactly (mcp-handler 2.1.1, @modelcontextprotocol/server 2.0.0, hono, zod) and enforced by scripts/check-vercel-architecture.mjs. MCP SDK v1 and @modelcontextprotocol/ext-apps are dev/test-only.
  • Upstream example code under upstream/ext-apps/ is pinned to one reviewed commit. Never fetch upstream at build or runtime. Any change to a copied file must update upstream/manifest.json (digests + modification note) and pass pnpm verify:notices.
  • Wave 1 safety boundary is mandatory: no server egress, no subprocesses, no persistence, no credentials, no write tools, bounded input/output/time/ concurrency. scripts/check-source-boundary.mjs scans the runtime path.
  • Never log tool arguments, results, prompts, resource contents, headers, cookies, IP addresses, or credentials. src/observability.ts is the only logging seam.
  • Do not add a root /mcp endpoint: every app stays its own logical MCP server under /apps/<slug>/mcp.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
