AGENTS.md

renpy-mcp-creator AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Renoyz/renpy-mcp-creator. It costs 1,543 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for AI coding agents working on the renpy-mcp-creator project. They describe the project, its current state, repository layout and rules for making changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Guiding work on the Ren'Py project, including its project-creation, content-generation, asset-review, script-versioning and build-preview workflow.
Why use it?
They give an agent project context and limits, reducing guesswork and unwanted changes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01543 $0.01543
Opus 5 $0.00772 $0.00772
Sonnet 5 $0.00309 $0.00309
Haiku 4.5 $0.00154 $0.00154

Security

Grade A, and why

renpy-mcp-creator AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md

This file is for AI coding agents working in this repository.

Scope

  • This file applies to AI coding agents only.
  • Optimize for small, verifiable changes.
  • Do not expand work into a later phase unless the user explicitly asks for it.

Current Product State

  • The core pipeline is operational: create project → AI intake → brief → outline → blueprint freeze → multi-chapter scenes → asset review → script commit/rollback → build/preview.
  • Historical evidence includes one real-LLM E2E run covering 14/14 stages in about 132 seconds. Real-LLM tests remain manual and are not a per-commit guarantee.
  • Completed capabilities include adaptive refinement, position-aware narrative guidance, stepwise generation/import, derived asset slots, Game Shell, and the workflow Dashboard redesign.
  • The project is now an open-source (MIT), non-commercial effort: priorities are release hygiene, GitHub publication, and community feedback. Installer/packaging work is deferred until user demand appears. The four known integration failures and the preview-process cleanup were fixed on 2026-07-19.
  • Product differentiation work is ordered as GameIR v1 → Asset Manifest Protocol → generated/user ownership → compiler diagnostics.
  • Dual-agent audit, another broad UI redesign, more providers, and hosted SaaS work are deferred until user validation succeeds.
  • docs/ROADMAP.md is the authoritative current-status document.
  • docs/README.md indexes active and archived documentation.
  • docs/vn-engineering-middleware-gap-analysis.md records the active product direction.
  • docs/dual-agent-design.md is a future design, not an active phase.

Repo Map

  • desktop/: Electron desktop shell
  • packaging/: PyInstaller configuration and Windows build scripts
  • tests/: unit, integration, and E2E coverage
  • workspace/: local generated projects and debug artifacts

    • docs/archive/: completed, partial, or superseded plans and prompts
    • docs/superpowers/specs/: approved active design specifications
    • docs/superpowers/plans/: active implementation plans

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
