Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

| Opus 5 | $0.01847 | $0.01847 |

Grade B, and why
machinestate CLAUDE.md scanned grade B with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation
A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.
sudo dpkg -i ../machinestate-go_1.0.0_amd64.deb Makes network callslowCapability
Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Project Overview
machinestate is a system health reporter for Ubuntu/Linux systems that generates comprehensive system state reports. It collects system metrics, detects issues, and outputs reports in multiple formats with continuous streaming support.
Two implementations:
go/- Go implementation using gopsutil libraryzig/- Zig implementation with native system calls
Both implementations follow the specification in spec/ and produce identical JSON output.
Build Commands
Using Makefile (Recommended)
make all # Build both Go and Zig implementations
make go # Build Go only
make zig # Build Zig release
make debug # Build Zig debug
make test # Run unit tests for both
make validate # Validate JSON output against schema
make validate-mcp # Validate all 14 MCP tools against their schemas
make benchmark # Run performance benchmarks (requires hyperfine)
make clean # Remove build artifacts
make install # Install to /usr/local/bin
# Cross-compilation
make build-amd64 # Build for x86_64 (GNU libc)
make build-arm64 # Build for ARM64 (GNU libc)
make build-amd64-musl # Build for x86_64 (musl - static)
make build-arm64-musl # Build for ARM64 (musl - static)
make build-all-arch # Build all architectures
make release # Build all and copy to dist/
# Docker
make docker-build-go # Build Go Docker image
make docker-build-zig # Build Zig Docker image
make docker-build # Build both images
make docker-run-go # Run Go container (port 8080)
make docker-run-zig # Run Zig container (port 8081)
make docker-compose-up # Run both via docker-compose
Direct Commands
Go:
cd go/
go build -o machinestate .
go test ./...
Zig:
cd zig/
zig build # Debug build
zig build -Doptimize=ReleaseFast # Release build
zig build test # Run tests
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

machinestate CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository reza-ebrahimi/machinestate (5 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 3,693 tokens to every session, about $0.0185 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 2 findings (asks for root, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
