mcp4acumatica: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

mcp4acumatica CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from rgreeno1/mcp4acumatica. It costs 15,857 tokens per session, scanned C, original, Apache-2.0.

Project instructions for MCP4Acumatica, a service that lets Claude connect to Acumatica business-management software through its web API. They describe the architecture, authentication flow, storage approach, deployment details, and code requirements.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing the Cloudflare Worker, Acumatica connection, sign-in flow, storage layer, deployment settings, or TypeScript files and their required copyright headers.
Why use it?
They give coding agents the context needed to modify a system that connects an AI assistant to business records while respecting each user’s Acumatica permissions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.15857 $0.15857
Opus 5 $0.07928 $0.07928

Security

Grade C, and why

mcp4acumatica CLAUDE.md scanned grade C with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

CLAUDE.md — Project Memory for MCP4Acumatica

Project Overview

Remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server on Cloudflare Workers that connects Claude to an Acumatica ERP 2025 R2 instance via the contract-based REST API. Each user authenticates directly with Acumatica — their Acumatica role controls what records they can access.

Storage Abstraction (Platform Portability)

Tool handlers, the Acumatica HTTP client, config, and caching are decoupled from Cloudflare via two abstractions:

  • IKeyValueStore (src/lib/kv-store.ts) — Platform-agnostic interface for key-value storage (get, put, delete, list). Cloudflare Workers uses CloudflareKVStore which wraps KVNamespace.
  • AppEnv (src/types/acumatica.ts) — Portable environment type containing Acumatica connection settings and a store: IKeyValueStore. All tool handlers and shared libraries use AppEnv. The Cloudflare-specific Env extends AppEnv with CF bindings (TOKEN_STORE, OAUTH_KV, MCP_OBJECT, etc.).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
