Before reviewing Dart

Read the Dart SDK constraint from pubspec.yaml (environment: → sdk:) and the Flutter version from mise.toml (flutter = "…") before judging any syntax. Do not rely on a version restated in prose, here or anywhere else — this file once claimed an SDK floor seven minor versions out of date, and the reviewer spent months rejecting valid code as a compile error because of it.

This project tracks recent releases. Modern language features — null-aware elements ({'k': ?v}), records, patterns, switch expressions, sealed classes, and break-free switch cases — are valid here and are the most common source of incorrect review comments.

CI compiles this code before you review it. flutter analyze runs without --no-fatal-infos, so every diagnostic at any severity fails the build. If the checks are green, the code compiles — a comment claiming otherwise is a false positive, not a finding.

A Flutter app for browsing drinks (beers, ciders, meads, wines, etc.) at the Cambridge Beer Festival. Supports Android, iOS, and Web.
