CLAUDE.md

ai-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from rikdc/ai-skills. It costs 2,050 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MPL-2.0.

Project instructions for an AI Skills repository, a collection of installable add-ons for Claude Code. They describe its marketplace layout, included add-ons, folders, and important commands.

In plain words
What is it for?
Maintaining the add-on marketplace, working on its security hooks and development tools, and using the repository's documented commands.
Why use it?
They give the agent the repository context needed to work in the correct folders and understand how the add-ons are organised.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02050 $0.02050
Opus 5 $0.01025 $0.01025
Sonnet 5 $0.00410 $0.00410
Haiku 4.5 $0.00205 $0.00205

Measured 8d ago against content hash 9b161dae4788, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md

This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.

Project Overview

This is the AI Skills project, which provides security hooks and testing infrastructure for Claude Code projects. The main features are:

  1. Security scanning to prevent sensitive data from being sent to external MCP services
  2. Branch protection to enforce PR-based workflows by preventing direct edits to protected branches (main, master, production, release)

Marketplace Structure

The repository is organized as a marketplace with 7 installable plugins:

  • security-hooks: MCP security scanner and protected branch hooks
  • dev-skills: Expert skills for Go, documentation, and architecture
  • git-workflow: Git automation for commits, PRs, and changelog
  • pm-tools: Project management commands for PRDs and tasks
  • code-quality: Code quality analysis, review, and cleanup
  • prompt-tools: AI prompt generation and review tools
  • pr-review-triage: Triage of PR review comments and follow-up tracking

Directory Structure

  • plugins/: Marketplace plugin distribution (for users to install individual plugins)
  • .claude/: Local development structure (for contributors working on the codebase)

Key Commands

All project operations are managed through the Makefile:

make test # Run complete test suite
make lint # Run ShellCheck on all shell scripts
make install # Install hooks (make scanner script executable)
make sync-codex-skills # Sync .codex/skills symlinks with plugins/*/skills
make clean # Remove test artifacts and logs
make status # Show current status and configuration
make check-tools # Check for required and optional security tools
make help # Display all available commands

Claude Code Skills and Commands

This project uses the modern Claude Code skills structure alongside legacy commands.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
