lnm-brain-public: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

lnm-brain-public CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Ritik-Sharma1/lnm-brain-public. It costs 959 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for an automatic second brain, meaning a knowledge store that captures and retrieves notes from conversations and coding work.

In plain words
What is it for?
Querying stored knowledge, capturing questions and code-related work, and preserving decisions, research, diagnoses, and recommendations.
Why use it?
It requires the coding agent to retrieve relevant stored context before answering and record new decisions or work afterward.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00959 $0.00959
Opus 5 $0.00479 $0.00479
Sonnet 5 $0.00192 $0.00192
Haiku 4.5 $0.00096 $0.00096

Security

Grade A, and why

lnm-brain-public CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

LNM Brain — Claude / Agent Memory Configuration v10.2.2

This is a reusable integration template. It must point to the current user's own private LNM Brain deployment; it must never contain another person's captured memory, credentials, or profile data.

Before substantive work

  1. Call session_context() at session start.
  2. For work involving existing projects, preferences, prior decisions, or history, retrieve relevant Second Brain context before answering or acting.
  3. Prefer the cheapest useful retrieval path:
session_context
→ get_entity_facts / query_triples
→ keyword_search
→ recall_brain
→ query_second_brain / semantic_search
→ ask_second_brain

Stop once enough evidence is available.

Capture rules

Persist durable outcomes such as:

  • decisions and reasons;
  • project-state changes;
  • important code/architecture conclusions;
  • research findings;
  • preferences and instructions;
  • troubleshooting outcomes worth remembering;
  • blockers and next actions.

Skip pure greetings, acknowledgements, duplicate captures, and low-value tool noise.

Use ingest_to_second_brain for the full pipeline. Use capture_to_second_brain as a lighter fallback where appropriate.

SESSION-HANDOFF

After a substantive session, write a compact handoff with:

Surface: <surface>
Time: <time>
Topic: <topic>

## State
<where things stand>

## Decisions Made
- <decision> → <reason>

## Avoided Paths
- <rejected path> → <reason>

## Actions Taken
- <completed work>

## Key Insights
- <durable learning>

## Key Data & Variables
- <versions, IDs, URLs, thresholds>

## Next Actions
1. <next action>

## Open Questions / Blockers
- <blocker>

## Confidence Flags
- Confirmed: <verified>
- Assumed: <not verified>

## Trail
<recent related handoffs>

The handoff should let a cold agent recover most of the working state quickly without loading raw history.

Runtime MCP interface

The v10.2.2 reference worker registers 27 MCP tools. The worker's tools/list response is authoritative:
