apple-health-ai-bridge: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

apple-health-ai-bridge AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from roian6/apple-health-ai-bridge. It costs 486 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for a privacy-focused bridge that reads Apple Health data for AI tools. Apple Health is Apple's app for storing health and fitness records, and HealthKit is the system framework that provides access to those records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Developing or reviewing local health-data queries, receiver examples, tests, documentation, and MCP or command-line interfaces.
Why use it?
They keep examples and tests free of personal health data and restrict access, syncing, telemetry, and data sharing to protect privacy.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00486 $0.00486
Opus 5 $0.00243 $0.00243
Sonnet 5 $0.00097 $0.00097
Haiku 4.5 $0.00049 $0.00049

Security

Grade A, and why

apple-health-ai-bridge AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Apple Health AI Bridge agent instructions

This file gives safe operating rules for AI coding agents and automation working in this repository. The project is fixture-first, local-first, and privacy-sensitive.

Core rules

  • Use synthetic fixtures or deliberately Apple Health-shaped smoke data in tests, docs, issues, and examples.
  • Do not commit real HealthKit exports, health values, screenshots with health values, receiver databases, logs with personal data, pairing links, setup pages, bearer tokens, token hashes, cursor values, or local outbox payloads.
  • Keep HealthKit access read-only by default. Do not add HealthKit write APIs unless the project explicitly changes scope.
  • Do not add telemetry, analytics, advertising hooks, hidden hosted sync, data brokers, or third-party AI upload paths without an explicit privacy review.
  • Keep MCP and CLI query surfaces read-only. Do not expose raw SQL by default.
  • Keep receiver examples local or private-network oriented. Public internet deployment needs separate hardening guidance.

Public documentation style

Public docs should read like product and developer documentation, not internal project notes.

Avoid adding:

  • stage diaries;
  • private implementation plans;
  • agent/tool-specific work instructions;
  • private QA transcripts;
  • personal account details;
  • raw validation logs;
  • App Store Connect or signing material.

If detailed planning or private validation notes are needed, keep them outside the public repository.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
