pacioli: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

pacioli CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from rubenzarroca/pacioli. It costs 866 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Instructions for Pacioli, a read-only MCP server connecting a coding agent to Holded’s accounting API, together with Spanish accounting guidance. Holded is business-management software, and the PGC is Spain’s standard accounting plan.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to retrieve or understand accounts, ledgers, invoices, payments, balance sheets, profit-and-loss reports, and VAT summaries from Holded.
Why use it?
They explain the server’s structure and how accounting data from Holded should be interpreted.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: the file is CLAUDE.md. Also seen: mentions Claude Code.

This is rubenzarroca/pacioli's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on pacioli itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything pacioli configures →

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is import { HoldedClient } from "../holded/client.js";.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00866 $0.00866
Opus 5 $0.00433 $0.00433
Sonnet 5 $0.00173 $0.00173
Haiku 4.5 $0.00087 $0.00087

Measured 7d ago against content hash 4c0e81e82162, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

pacioli CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Pacioli — Holded MCP Server + Skill PGC

Stack

  • Node.js + TypeScript (ESM, target ES2022, module Node16)
  • @modelcontextprotocol/sdk v1.26.0 — MCP server
  • zod@4 — validación de schemas de tools
  • Build output: dist/

Arquitectura

MCP Server

  • Entry point: src/index.ts → crea transporte stdio y conecta el server
  • Server: src/server.ts → exporta createServer() que instancia McpServer + HoldedClient
  • Cada fichero de tools exporta registerTools(server, client):
    • src/tools/accounting.ts → 2 tools (list_accounts, list_daily_ledger)
    • src/tools/invoicing.ts → 5 tools (list_documents, get_document, list_contacts, get_contact, get_taxes)
    • src/tools/treasury.ts → 2 tools (list_treasuries, list_payments)
    • src/tools/reports.ts → 3 tools (get_balance_sheet, get_profit_loss, get_vat_summary)

Holded Client (src/holded/)

  • client.ts — Clase HoldedClient. Auth via header key: <apiKey>. Timeout 30s. Retry 3x backoff.
  • types.ts — Interfaces TS para respuestas de Holded.
  • endpoints.ts — Constantes de URLs. Base: https://api.holded.com/api

API de Holded — Particularidades

  • Auth: header key: <apiKey> (NO Authorization, NO Bearer)
  • Fechas: se envían como timestamps Unix en params starttmp/endtmp
  • Paginación: limit/offset query params
  • Cuentas contables: /api/accounting/v1/chartofaccounts (NO /accounts)
  • Documentos extra params: paid (0/1/2), sort, contactid

Patrón de registro de tools

Cada fichero de tools exporta una función:

import { McpServer } from "@modelcontextprotocol/sdk/server/mcp.js";
import { z } from "zod";
import { HoldedClient } from "../holded/client.js";

export function registerTools(server: McpServer, client: HoldedClient): void {
  server.registerTool("holded_tool_name", {
    description: "Descripción en español",
    inputSchema: { param: z.string().optional().describe("Descripción") },
  }, async ({ param }) => {
    try {
      const data = await client.someMethod(param);
      return { content: [{ type: "text", text: JSON.stringify(data, null, 2) }] };
    } catch (err) {
      const message = err instanceof Error ? err.message : String(err);
      return { content: [{ type: "text", text: `Error: ${message}` }], isError: true };
    }
  });
}

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
