CLAUDE.md

olly-molly CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from ruucm/olly-molly. It costs 662 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project guide for Olly Molly, a local-first application for managing teams of AI coding agents through a kanban board. It documents the project’s commands, architecture, technologies, directories, and agent execution setup.

In plain words
What is it for?
Developing, building, starting, linting, and understanding Olly Molly’s Next.js application, its kanban interface, local database, drag-and-drop components, API routes, and command-line agent processes.
Why use it?
It gives a coding agent the project context needed to make changes consistently and use the correct development commands.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00662 $0.00662
Opus 5 $0.00331 $0.00331
Sonnet 5 $0.00132 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00066 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

olly-molly CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

Olly Molly is a local-first AI development team manager. Users assign tasks to AI agents (PM, Frontend Dev, Backend Dev, QA, DevOps, Bug Hunter) via a kanban board interface. Agents execute via CLI tools (Claude CLI, OpenCode, or Codex CLI) and modify the user's codebase.

Development Commands

npm run dev # Start dev server at http://localhost:1234
npm run build # Production build
npm run start # Run production build
npm run lint # ESLint

Architecture

Tech Stack

  • Framework: Next.js 16 (App Router) with React 19
  • Database: TanStack DB with IndexedDB persistence (client-side only)
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS 4 with CSS variables for theming
  • Drag & Drop: dnd-kit
  • AI Execution: Spawns CLI processes (claude, opencode, codex)

Key Directories

  • app/ - Next.js App Router pages and API routes
  • app/api/ - Backend endpoints (agent execution, tickets, projects, members)
  • components/ - React components organized by feature (kanban/, pm/, project/, team/, ui/)
  • lib/ - Core logic (client-db.ts for data layer, agent-jobs.ts for AI execution)
  • db/ - SQLite schema with default agent definitions
  • bin/cli.js - CLI entry point that downloads/runs the app

Data Flow

  1. Primary storage: IndexedDB via TanStack DB (lib/client-db.ts)
  2. Reactive queries: useLiveQuery hooks for real-time UI updates
  3. Services: memberService, ticketService, projectService for CRUD operations
  4. AI agents: Spawned as child processes in lib/agent-jobs.ts, output streamed to UI

Core Data Types (lib/client-db.ts)

  • Member - Team members with system prompts and capabilities
  • Ticket - Tasks with status (TODO, IN_PROGRESS, IN_REVIEW, NEED_FIX, COMPLETE, ON_HOLD)
  • Conversation - Agent execution records with provider type
  • AgentWorkLog - History of agent runs with output and duration

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
