sourced CLAUDE.md

sourced CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from RyanCodrai/sourced. It costs 194 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of project instructions for the sourced Python codebase. It describes the technology choices, code layout, infrastructure rules, and how the agent should communicate.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding or changing Python features, working with API and service code, handling cloud resources, or answering questions about the project.
Why use it?
It keeps coding work aligned with the project's existing structure and prevents guesses or unapproved infrastructure changes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00194 $0.00194
Opus 5 $0.00097 $0.00097
Sonnet 5 $0.00039 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00019

Measured 5d ago against content hash 20d3a84df0ac, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sourced CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Tech Stack

This is primarily a Python project. When implementing features, follow existing patterns in the codebase for API endpoints, service organization, and dependency injection.

Code Organization

When modifying existing functionality, keep changes within existing file structures unless explicitly asked to create new files. Prefer extending current modules over creating new service layers.

Infrastructure

For infrastructure changes (GCS buckets, databases, cloud resources), always ask before creating new resources. Prefer using existing infrastructure (e.g., 'datalake' bucket) over provisioning new ones via Terraform.

Communication

When the user asks a question, answer it. Don't infer that a question is a request to take action (e.g. delete, refactor, change something). Wait for explicit instructions before modifying code.

Do not guess or estimate values. If you don't know something (e.g. database max connections, resource limits, configuration values), look it up or run a command to find the actual answer.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
