sablier-mcp: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

sablier-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from sablier-ai/sablier-mcp. It costs 309 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Sablier MCP, a server that connects an AI assistant to Sablier services. They explain package versioning, local and cloud connection modes, and the roles of its main branches.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing tools or dependencies, publishing a new PyPI version, configuring local stdio access, or deploying the cloud HTTP service.
Why use it?
They help developers decide when a release version must change and avoid mixing up local connections with cloud deployment behavior.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00309 $0.00309
Opus 5 $0.00154 $0.00154
Sonnet 5 $0.00062 $0.00062
Haiku 4.5 $0.00031 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

sablier-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Sablier MCP Server — Instructions for Claude

PyPI Versioning

Version is in pyproject.toml. CI auto-publishes to PyPI on push to main — but only if the version changed (duplicates are silently skipped).

When to bump the version: Only when changes affect the local/stdio experience (new tools, tool changes, bug fixes, dependency changes). Cloud Run-only changes (auth, remote transport, deployment config) don't need a PyPI bump.

How to bump:

  • Patch (0.2.1 → 0.2.2): bug fixes, small tool tweaks, description changes
  • Minor (0.2.2 → 0.3.0): new tools added, tools removed, breaking parameter changes
  • Major (0.x → 1.0.0): first stable release (not yet)

If unsure, use patch. Don't bump on every push — only when the change is user-facing for uvx sablier-mcp users.

Transport Modes

  • stdio (local): auto-selected when SABLIER_API_KEY env var is set. No auth server needed.
  • streamable-http (Cloud Run): default when no API key. Uses OAuth 2.0, stateless sessions.

Branches

  • main = production Cloud Run + PyPI publish
  • dev = staging Cloud Run (keep in sync with main)
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
