Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.03482 $0.03482
Opus 5 $0.01741 $0.01741
Sonnet 5 $0.00696 $0.00696
Haiku 4.5 $0.00348 $0.00348

Measured 10d ago against content hash 1d6e73988478, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

CasualMarket CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

CasualMarket is a Taiwan Stock Exchange MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server that provides real-time stock price queries for Taiwan securities. It uses FastMCP framework for simplified MCP tool registration and includes intelligent rate limiting, caching, and financial analysis features.

Development Commands

Server Execution

CasualMarket supports two deployment modes:

  1. stdio mode: Local development and Claude Desktop integration
  2. Docker + SSE mode: Containerized deployment with HTTP interface
Production Execution
# stdio mode (local/desktop)
uvx --from . casual-market-mcp

# Docker mode (SSE HTTP interface)
docker-compose up -d
Development Execution (Recommended for Active Development)
# Development mode - direct execution avoids uvx cache issues
uv run python -m src.main

# Quick functionality test
uv run python tests/api/demo_enhanced_client.py
Cache Management
# Clear uvx cache when needed (production deployment)
uv cache clean

# Development mode automatically uses latest code
# No cache clearing needed when using uv run

Docker Deployment

# Pull and start container (recommended)
./scripts/docker-run.sh pull
./scripts/docker-run.sh up

# Or build locally
./scripts/docker-run.sh build
DOCKER_IMAGE_NAME=casualmarket-mcp:latest ./scripts/docker-run.sh up

# View logs
./scripts/docker-run.sh logs

# Test service
./scripts/docker-run.sh test

# Stop and remove container
./scripts/docker-run.sh down

# Multi-platform build and push to Docker Hub
./scripts/build_docker.sh --platform all --action build-push

Docker Endpoints:

  • Root: http://localhost:8000/
  • Health: http://localhost:8000/health
  • SSE: http://localhost:8000/sse (MCP protocol)
  • Docs: http://localhost:8000/docs

Quick Commands:

# View service info
./scripts/docker-run.sh info

# Enter container shell
./scripts/docker-run.sh shell

# Restart service
./scripts/docker-run.sh restart

# Complete cleanup
./scripts/docker-run.sh clean

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
