What is awesome-ai-native CLAUDE.md?

Repository instructions for maintaining an online list of products built around artificial intelligence. The list's content lives in README.md, while the website is generated from it.

Editing the product list, deciding which products belong, running the content checker, and keeping the generated website in sync.

They prevent duplicated or misplaced content and define checks that keep entries and formatting consistent before publication.

Single source of truth

README.md is the only content file. The website (samber.github.io/awesome-ai-native) is generated from it at build time. Never duplicate content between the README and the site.

All edits go in README.md.
site/ contains only build tooling (Astro + marked). Do not add content there.
After editing README.md, the site updates automatically on push to main.

Scope

This list is for AI-native products: an LLM is the product, not a feature. "AI-powered" sidebars, summarize buttons, and semantic search bolted onto legacy products do not belong here. Links point at the product itself, and entries are dropped once a product shuts down or pivots away from AI.

Lint

The README must pass awesome-lint with 0 errors before merging.

Key formatting rules enforced by awesome-lint:

Every list item: - [Name](url) - Description starting uppercase, ending in period.
No duplicate URLs anywhere in the file
All headings must appear in the ## Contents ToC
Table pipes must be aligned

The awesome-spell-check rule flags proper nouns it mistakes for technology terms (Llama the Meta model, Dao the researcher). Silence a genuine false positive with  on the line directly above the entry — never reword a correct name to satisfy the linter.

Site (site/)

The site is a minimal Astro static site. It reads ../README.md at build time via site/src/lib/readme.ts, which:

Strips  pragma comments
Parses Markdown with marked (GFM tables + raw HTML)
Wraps <table> in <div class="table-wrapper"> for responsive scroll
Rewrites relative .md links to GitHub URLs
Generates GitHub-compatible heading slugs so ToC anchors work

Each top-level ## section also gets its own SEO-optimized category page via site/src/pages/[category].astro.
