Data Flow Pattern

Data Source Architecture

Each data source follows a consistent pattern:

Source Directory: main/sources/[source-name]/
- Contains synced markdown files with YAML frontmatter
- Includes README.md with source-specific documentation
- Includes .sync-config.json with sync preferences
- Includes .last-sync timestamp file (updated by sync script)
- Includes .last-auto-sync notification file (updated by auto-sync hook)
Sync Script: scripts/sync-[source-name].py
- Python 3.7+ script with argparse CLI
- Reads from local cache or API
- Outputs structured markdown files
- Preserves full metadata in YAML frontmatter
Auto-Sync Script: scripts/auto-sync-[source-name].sh
- Bash script triggered by SessionStart hook
- Automatically syncs new data since last sync
- Writes detailed summary to .last-auto-sync notification file
- Summary includes: meeting count, date range, meeting titles, transcript status
