Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01562 $0.01562
Opus 5.5 $0.00625 $0.00625
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00312 $0.00312
Haiku 4.5 $0.00156 $0.00156

Measured 2mo ago against content hash 203a5a030094, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sap-community-activity-badges CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Commands

All development commands are run from the srv/ directory (the Node.js service):

cd srv
npm run install:all # Install Express deps AND the nested Vue app's deps (one-time per checkout)
npm run dev # Start Express + Vite dev server (concurrent, ports 4000 and 5173)
npm run dev:server-only # Start Express only (nodemon, port 4000) — when the Vue app isn't needed
npm start # Start production server (port 4000 by default, overridden by PORT env var)
npm run types # Regenerate TypeScript declarations in srv/types/
npm run test:vue # Run the Vue app's Vitest unit tests

Why install:all and not npm install? The Vue SPA at srv/app/profile-vue/ has its own package.json (Vite/Vue/UI5 don't ship to production). Plain npm install in srv/ only handles Express's deps. install:all runs both. We don't use a postinstall hook for security reasons (postinstall scripts are a supply-chain attack vector).

When npm run dev is running, open http://localhost:5173/profile/<scn-id> (Vite's dev server proxies API calls to Express).

To build the MTAR for SAP BTP Cloud Foundry deployment, run from the root:

npm run build # Builds the Vue SPA, then runs mbt build (requires Cloud MTA Build Tool)

There are no automated tests for the Express service (npm test is a stub). The Vue app has 73 Vitest unit tests; run via npm run test:vue.

Architecture

This is a single Node.js Express 5 service (srv/) packaged as an MTAR for SAP BTP Cloud Foundry deployment. The service generates SVG/PNG image cards showing SAP Community user activity and badges, plus a Devtoberfest contest gameboard.

Requires Node.js ^22.0.0 || ^24.0.0.

Startup Flow

srv/index.js → srv/express-server.js (ExpressServer class):

  1. Loads srv/server/express.js (middleware: logging, CORS, security, Swagger, health check, overload protection)
  2. Auto-loads all srv/routes/**/*.js files as Express route handlers

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
