Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01782 $0.01782
Opus 5 $0.00891 $0.00891
Sonnet 5 $0.00356 $0.00356
Haiku 4.5 $0.00178 $0.00178

Security

Grade A, and why

polymarket-sports-analysis CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

Polymarket Sports Analytics - tracks sports prediction market performance on Polymarket. Fetches on-chain trading data, calculates P&L metrics, and generates Excel leaderboards for NFL, NBA, CFB, and CBB markets.

Commands

# Install dependencies (uses venv with Python 3.12)
pip install -r requirements.txt

# Run tests
pytest tests/
pytest tests/test_markets.py -v # Single test file

# Full pipeline (must run in order)
python update_markets.py && python update_trades.py && python update_picks.py

# Optional: flat-table analysis (after trades are populated)
python update_analyze.py

# Migrate existing CSV data to Parquet (one-time)
python update_trades.py --migrate

# update_trades.py options
python update_trades.py --resolved-only # Only resolved markets
python update_trades.py --unresolved-only # Only active markets
python update_trades.py --force-reprocess # Ignore cache
python update_trades.py --verbose # Detailed output
python update_trades.py --max-users N # Limit users (testing)
python update_trades.py --sport nfl # Filter by sport
python update_trades.py --pick-basis amount # Classify picks by amount held

# update_picks.py / update_analyze.py CLI mode
python update_picks.py --sport NFL --season-id 2025 --weeks 5
python update_picks.py --sport NBA --season-id 2025-26 --last5
python update_analyze.py --sport CFB --season-id 2025 --weeks 3-5

Architecture

Four-stage Parquet pipeline:

Gamma API (REST) GraphQL Subgraphs (Goldsky)
      │ │
      ▼ ▼
update_markets.py ──► update_trades.py ──► update_picks.py
      │ │ ──► update_analyze.py
      ▼ ▼ │
db_markets.parquet db_trades_*.parquet leaderboard_*.xlsx / analysis_*.xlsx

Stage 1 - update_markets.py: Fetches moneyline markets from Polymarket Gamma API by series ID (NFL=10187, CFB=10210, NBA=10345, CBB=10470). Filters to moneyline only, determines winners (price > 0.95). Deduplicates on condition_id.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
