scrapegraph-mcp CLAUDE.md

scrapegraph-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from ScrapeGraphAI/scrapegraph-mcp. It costs 170 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for ScrapeGraphAI and its MCP server, including how important documentation is organised in an agent folder. MCP is a standard way for an AI client to use tools provided by another program.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when planning or implementing ScrapeGraphAI features, especially changes that should be reflected in the project’s agent documentation.
Why use it?
It gives contributors a shared place to find system information, plans, procedures, and documentation requirements before changing the project.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00170 $0.00170
Opus 5 $0.00085 $0.00085
Sonnet 5 $0.00034 $0.00034
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00017

Measured 4d ago against content hash e80db55c5017, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

scrapegraph-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DOCS

We keep all important docs in agent folder and keep updating them, structure like below .agent

  • Tasks: PRD & implementation plan for each feature
  • System: Document the current state of the system (project structure, tech stack, integration points, database schema, and core functionalities such as agent architecture, LLM layer, etc.)
  • SOP: Best practices of execute certain tasks (e.g. how to add a schema migration, how to add a new page route, etc.)
  • README.md: an index of all the documentations we have so people know what & where to look for things We should always update «agent docs after we implement certain featrue, to make sure it fully reflect the up to date information Before you plan any implementation, always read the •agent/README first to get context
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
