Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02891 $0.02891
Opus 5 $0.01445 $0.01445
Sonnet 5 $0.00578 $0.00578
Haiku 4.5 $0.00289 $0.00289

Security

Grade A, and why

avatar-forge-skill AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AvatarForge development agreements

Use this file as the repository-level operating guide for agents and contributors. Keep user-facing generation behavior in SKILL.md and references/; keep development process, repository layout, and acceptance gates here.

Working agreements

  • Preserve the avatar-forge-skill skill name, stable Pack IDs, and the 14-field Style Contract.
  • Prefer pnpm when installing development dependencies.
  • Ask for confirmation before adding any production dependency.
  • Run npm test after modifying JavaScript files. If the repository has no package.json, report that the test was not applicable rather than inventing a command.
  • Use apply_patch for text edits. Preserve unrelated user changes and do not commit, publish, package, or install the Skill unless requested.

Current operating model

Request-routing modes

Resolve requests in this precedence order:

  1. explicit current user instruction;
  2. explicitly invoked locked or saved style;
  3. explicit medium;
  4. named character default style;
  5. scene preset default.

Route the request through one of these entry modes:

  • Direct description: infer the scene and Pack and proceed when optional details can be absorbed by defaults.
  • Scene first: use references/scene-presets.md; scene presets choose content and a complete Pack but never replace Pack fields with loose prose.
  • Explicit medium: select the full matching Pack even when the scene has another default.
  • Named character: load identity anchors and only references eligible for the active Pack.
  • Locked or named style: restore the exact stored contract and fingerprint; fork rather than silently weakening a locked field.
  • Series/gallery/team: use references/series-batches.md and separate immutable structure, content slots, and adaptive style slots.
  • Reference image: separate identity evidence from incidental crop, clothing, lighting, background, and medium.

Batch modes

Choose exactly one batch mode before materializing prompts:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
