plan-critique-skills: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

plan-critique-skills CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from serbanghita/plan-critique-skills. It costs 1,205 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of planning instructions for creating, reviewing, executing, and archiving software plans across several coding agents.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps run plan creation, critique, execution, and archiving workflows in Claude Code, Antigravity, and GitHub Copilot CLI.
Why use it?
It standardizes how plans are handled and tracks separate planning sessions, reducing confusion when multiple plans or agent tools are in use.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01205 $0.01205
Opus 5 $0.00602 $0.00602
Sonnet 5 $0.00241 $0.00241
Haiku 4.5 $0.00120 $0.00120

Security

Grade A, and why

plan-critique-skills CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Standards

This project provides five planning skills for three agents.

  • Claude Code reads them from skills/ as create, critique, cycle, execute and archive. Installed as a plugin they are invoked as /plan:create, /plan:critique, /plan:cycle, /plan:execute and /plan:archive; installed manually they are invoked bare as /create, /critique, etc.
  • Antigravity reads them from .gemini/skills/ as plan-create, plan-critique, plan-cycle, plan-execute and plan-archive.
  • GitHub Copilot CLI reads them from .github/skills/ as plan-create, plan-critique, plan-cycle, plan-execute and plan-archive, invoked as /plan-create, /plan-critique, /plan-cycle, /plan-execute and /plan-archive.

These skills help create, review, execute, and archive plans written by the user.

The cycle skill is a shortcut through create and critique: it drafts plan.md only when the user has not written one, then critiques and merges up to cycleIterations times (default 3) and stops for approval. It merges on its own only the changes that are obvious, and asks the user about anything ambiguous, anything that touches what the user wrote, and anything that changes the scope of a chapter. It never executes the plan.

Architecture

Session tracking for parallel plans:

  • Each session tracks its current plan via a file in .planning/.sessions/.
  • Claude Code and Antigravity key the file by the process ID obtained via echo $PPID, and clean up stale files opportunistically via kill -0 [PID] checks.
  • Copilot CLI keys the file by the COPILOT_AGENT_SESSION_ID environment variable, and cleans up session files that have not been modified in the last 7 days. It never shells out to $PPID or kill, because those do not work on Windows.
  • Skills read the session file to determine the current plan and show it as "(current session)" in selection.
  • The .sessions/ directory is local state and should be gitignored.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
