Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01980 | $0.01980 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00990 | $0.00990 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00396 | $0.00396 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00198 | $0.00198 |
Grade A, and why
vibe-audit-security CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 152 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

What this project is
vibe-audit is a local security scanner (CLI + MCP server) for projects built with AI coding assistants. It has two scan modes:
- scan-code: static analysis of a local project directory (secrets,
.gitignoregaps, missing Supabase/Postgres RLS, permissive Firestore rules, dangerous CORS config, risky code patterns, vulnerable dependencies). - scan-url: dynamic HTTP scan of a running URL (missing security headers, CORS, insecure cookies, exposed sensitive files, client-side secrets, an opt-in read-only Supabase RLS probe).
scan-project runs both and merges the results. All three are exposed as
CLI subcommands (vibe-audit scan-code|scan-url|scan-project) and as MCP
tools (scan_code, scan_url, scan_project) via vibe-audit mcp.
Architecture
src/core/ scanning engine, no dependency on the CLI or MCP SDK
types.ts Finding / ScanResult / Severity types
mask_secret.ts secret masking, used everywhere a secret could leak
ssrf_guard.ts IP classification + DNS-rebinding-safe validation
safe_fetch.ts GET/HEAD-only fetch wrapper enforcing the SSRF guard
fs_walk.ts directory traversal + capped text file reading
scoring.ts score/grade + severity sort, shared by all modes
secret_patterns.ts secret regexes shared by static + dynamic scanners
text_location.ts file:line helpers shared by static scanners
suppress.ts inline `vibe-audit-ignore` suppression check
scan_code.ts / scan_url.ts / scan_project.ts mode orchestrators
scanners/static/* mode 1 scanners
scanners/dynamic/* mode 2 scanners
report/ json.ts, markdown.ts, pdf.ts, summary.ts, write.ts
src/cli/ commander-based CLI, thin wrapper around core
src/mcp_server/ MCP tools, thin wrapper around core, same core calls as the CLI
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

vibe-audit-security CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository ShadowwMaliqua/vibe-audit-security (0 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,980 tokens to every session, about $0.0099 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
