ai-mind-map: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

ai-mind-map CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from shdra06/ai-mind-map. It costs 350 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of ai-mind-map copilot-instructions.md, MIT.

A set of instructions for an AI memory system that remembers a code project between conversations and helps find code by name, concept, or usage.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to resume previous work, start or end tracked tasks, search a codebase, find references, and trace which code calls another part.
Why use it?
It reduces repeated file reading and helps prevent context from being lost when work continues in a later session.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00350 $0.00350
Opus 5.5 $0.00140 $0.00140
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00070 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00035 $0.00035

Measured 8d ago against content hash f30e42748379, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-mind-map CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AI Mind Map MCP

Use native search for exact strings, known paths, and small files. Use the local graph for repeated symbols, callers, routes, and architecture questions.

When alignment is unknown, check mindmap_status once and set mindmap_set_project(projectPath: "<absolute path>") if needed.

  • Search: mindmap_smart_search(query: "...", limit: 5). Signatures are the default; request code or callers only when needed.
  • Relationships: mindmap_explain(symbol: "...", filePath: "...", depth: 1).
  • Routes: mindmap_route_map(prefix: "/api", limit: 20). Check truncation and unresolved coverage.
  • Exact Git comparisons: ai-mind-map diff [base] [target] exports a local patch and viewer. Use --fetch for a refreshed remote base. Read patch hunks into chat only when analysis is requested.
  • Source: mindmap_file_skeleton(file: "...") for unfamiliar structure; mindmap_read_lines(filePath: "...", startLine: X, endLine: Y) for logic. Direct bounded reads are valid.
  • Memory: mindmap_remember for durable facts; mindmap_recall for prior knowledge.

Refresh after external changes. Size/mtime checks can miss preserved-metadata edits. Verify consequential claims against source and tests. AST deltas are not behavioral verification. Graph edges can be incomplete or heuristic; an empty result does not prove absence.

If MCP is unavailable, use ai-mind-map search, trace, routes, or native tools. Do not force extra graph calls when direct evidence is cheaper.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
