What is mcp AGENTS.md?

A repository instruction file that tells coding agents to read CLAUDE.md, which contains the project's actual rules. It keeps one shared instruction source for every agent instead of copying the rules into multiple files.

Use it as a pointer for Codex and other agents working in the shipstatic/mcp repository, directing them to the repository's main instructions before they begin.

It reduces the risk that different coding tools follow conflicting instructions. Agents can use the same setup steps and working rules regardless of which tool they run.
